Dear Bro. Reckart
I received your extremely valuable book (Praise the Name of Jesus Christ) & have been evaluating & consuming it sporadically as I can fit in the time. I have been preparing some input for a near future dialectic review. As soon as I can coordinate the timing.
Having seen my good friend Brother Wade's impressive copy only momentarily, I asked him to get me a copy several weeks ago. Having ask him the price, he told me it was $7.00. I told him I would pay for mine now so be could send in my payment with his that he was planning to send in. He refused to accept my payment & said he would take care of it himself. I then graciously thanked him for his thoughtfulness. Some time later he told me he had passed my request for your book on to you & that he was in a position to have your books published at a more acceptable price.
Having received your booklet later, I noticed the imprinted note & thought I would send you a check to cover your stipulation, irrespective of my prior agreement with Bro. Wade, for perhaps there had been an inadvertent oversight on his part.
While taking the time to thoroughly analyze your timely & brilliant dissertation, I received your concerned letter & the enclosed voided check before I was able to finalize my examination of the facts incorporated in your book - & still (due to the limited time element) I have not finished my analysis as yet. However, I still plan to call you & review some pertinent statements in your splendid presentation of this scholarly research. However, I have sufficiently reviewed enough to ask you to kindly send a copy to the following pastors:
